Bali specifically from Ubud or Canggu in the morning, you will be driven 3hours to harbor Gilimanuk, plus 1hour ferry crossing to Java. Late afternoon will get to your guesthouse room in Banyuwangi, in the midnight you will be taken to hike Ijen and next midnight will be Bromo.

What to Bring?

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1 Pick up Ubud OR Canggu - Ferry Terminal - 1hour Ferry Boat - Guesthouse Banyuwangi
11 am pick up in your hotel Ubud/Canggu area, 3hours 30minutes is approximate duration for transfer to ferry terminal located on the most western tip of Bali.
1hour is approximate duration of ferry boat crossing to Java island.
In the afternoon, arrival in ferry terminal of Java, you will be picked up by Java driver.
40minutes transfer to guesthouse.
Dinner at client’s own expenses.
Take rest before midnight wake up call.
Day 2 Ijen – Bromo [B box]
00:30 am midnight wake up and check out.
1:30 am arrive at Ijen start point, briefing by guide
2 am start hike
3 am blue flame spot *blue flame can only be spotted in the dark
4 am sunrise point
5 am sunrise time, and other spot
6 am take photos
6:30 descend Ijen
8:30 am leave ijen
2 pm estimated arrive in Bromo area, check in guesthouse.
Day 3 Bromo – Surabaya [B]
1:30 am start with the car and driver to go to jeep meeting point.
2 am switch vehicle to jeep, accompanied by local guide.
4 am waiting sunrise time.
5 am sunrise in Bromo
6 am back to jeep, go down to caldera
7 am widodaren photo spot
7:30 trek up to Bromo crater edge
9 am back to jeep
10 am breakfast at guesthouse
11 am leave Bromo, drive to Surabaya.
1:30 pm estimated time drop off in Surabaya area.

>> Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
Is it possible to pick up in DPS Airport ? Yes. Please make sure the flight arrival is before 10:00 AM. Therefore we prefer to pick up in hotel.
Is it possible to drop off in Airport or train station? Yes, Airport or Train Station in Surabaya are possible. Please make sure the flight/train departure is 2hours later than 6:00 PM (18:00), flight leave around 19:00 should be fine.
So the luggage must be carried during tour? Yes. But you will leave it in the car while you’re doing the activity.
Is it allowed to fly drone? Currently the Bromo National Park policy is not allowing to fly drone on any point/ spot. While in Tumpak Sewu and Ijen are fine.
How about the availability? Tour available daily. Unless there is a closure by the local authority due to local’s event or any routine agenda with a prior notice.
Tour is not available on below starting dates either due to Mt. Ijen Cleaning routine agenda & Nyepi (Hindu’s Silence Day) in Bromo:

There might be other date of closure of places due to local event, we will inform later after receive an official announcement.
How about the accommodations? Accommodation is a guesthouse type or small hotel, private room with en suite bathroom.
Why does overnight in Bondowoso instead of close to Ijen? Driving duration to Bondowoso from Bromo is 4 hours, vs direct to Ijen (from Bromo) can take 6 hours. It’s just to split the 6 hours driving time instead of take long driving in one go, it is the way more convenience. However sometimes if we run out of availability in Bondowoso, we will alter the overnight location to Ijen.

How about the rest of payment? Rest Payment during the tour day, can be by another link OR cash. Another card link is subject to 2% admin charge.
Is it possible to finish/drop off (back) in Bali? We suggest to take flight from Surabaya to DPS for short duration. There is public bus from Surabaya to Denpasar if you want.
