2d1n is a short tour for the two different volcanoes, fit for you who has not much time for East Java. 2 midnight starts, 1 accommodation in between, tour will end in the morning at the Ketapang harbor.

Day 1 Pick up Surabaya OR Malang - Bromo group tour - Bondowoso [B]
23:30 start pick up time in Surabaya (Day -1). Starting date is the sunrise date, not the date of pick up.
00:30 pick up in Malang
1:30 am go to Village to switch jeep vehicle
2 am switch jeep for Bromo
4 am sunrise point
5 am sunrise witnessing
6 am back to jeep, go to crater, 1stop in Widodaren for photo
7:30 am hike up to crater edge
9 am back to jeep, leave Bromo, back to village breakfast
10:30 car, proceed to Bondowoso
14:30 check in guesthouse
Day 2 Bondowoso - Ijen - drop off Ketapang [B. box]
00:00 start to Ijen, 2hours driving, please wake up 15minutes prior 00:00
2 am start hike Ijen
3 am blue flame spot.
4 am summit followed by sunrise witnessing
6:30 am descend from Ijen
8 am Breakfast first before leaving.
10 am estimate arrive in Ketapang harbor. Back to Surabaya OR Malang is possible, extra cost IDR 200K per group.

Is it possible to pick up in Airport or train station? Yes. Please make sure the flight arrival is before 21:00. If by train, 1hour before pick up time is fine.
Is it possible to drop off in Airport or train station? Yes, either Surabaya or Denpasar airport, both are possible. Please make sure the flight/train departure is 2hours later than 5:00 PM (17:00), flight leave around 19:00 should be fine. IF will take train to the west like Yogyakarta, we suggest in Ketapang train station.
So the luggage must be carried during tour? Yes. But you will leave it in the car while you’re doing the activity.
Is it allowed to fly drone? Currently the Bromo National Park policy is not allowing to fly drone on any point/ spot. While in Tumpak Sewu and Ijen are fine.
How about the availability? Tour available daily. Unless there is a closure by the local authority due to local’s event or any routine agenda with a prior notice.
Tour is not available on below starting dates either due to Mt. Ijen Cleaning routine agenda & Nyepi (Hindu’s Silence Day) in Bromo:

There might be also other date of closure of 3 places due to local event, we will inform later after receive an official announcement.
How about the accommodations? Accommodation is a guesthouse type or small hotel, private room with en suite bathroom.
Why does overnight in Bondowoso instead of close to Ijen? Driving duration to Bondowoso from Bromo is 4 hours, vs direct to Ijen (from Bromo) can take 6 hours. It’s just to split the 6 hours driving time instead of take long driving in one go, it is the way more convenience. However sometimes if we run out of availability in Bondowoso, we will alter the overnight location to Ijen.
How to book? (1) check out button will bring you to deposit payment link; (2) Deposit IDR 500K is required to secure/reserve your space, 2% card charge applied; (3) Booking Form to be completed with your specific booking details; (4) Booking Confirmation will be sent by email.
How about the rest of payment? Rest Payment during the tour day cash basis. By card is possible, 5 days prior the tour start. Another card link is subject to 2% admin charge. PayPal , 3 days prior the tour start, 2% charge added.
Is it possible to finish/drop off (back) in Surabaya or Malang? Yes. Additional cost will be applied: IDR100K per person.
